Ellen O Carroll, Archaeological Consultancy, provides a professional service to a range of public and private clients. The Consultancy is committed to providing a full range of archaeological advice at a competitive price, minimising costly project delays and ensuring a prompt and efficient service within agreed time scales.

Ellen has a diploma in Environmental Impact Assessment Management from University College Dublin and has extensive experience in the preparation of the Cultural Heritage section of EIA's and Strategic Environmental Assessments.

She is a licenced Archaeologist who qualified from UCD with a BA in Archaeology and completed an MA in Practices and Methods in Archaeological Research at UCC in 1994. She received her licence in 1995 and has worked in the field for more than 15 years, directing wetland and dryland excavations throughout Ireland as well as project managing a large number of infrastructural projects and smaller scale developments from the initial site assessment stage to the mitigation stage of the planning process.

The consultancy can advise on all stages of archaeological works.
